The Market Women’s Group was set up in November 2014 to give women of the area a voice. The Women’s Group is a safe space to share their problems, somewhere to go to have a chat or just to get out of the house for a while and forget about those problems. The group is for any women to attend from 18 years and over, and lets the women participate in activities they normally wouldn’t take part in.

The group are also active around the community and work along side the MDA giving up their time during our festival periods to help out on trips, pensioners dinners or fun days.
